Artist Statement

"Snowy White Visitor" by Dianna Coidan

"Snowy White Visitor" and interested friends joined me while eating lunch outside in St. Petersburg, FL. Standing alone, displaying a camera-ready pose, I knew it would be a future pastel painting in the making. This beautiful white visitor was all too charming to not be on my easel returning back to my home studio in North Carolina. It was a distinct pleasure to paint one of my favorite subjects in the palette I enjoy, all the while reminiscing the warm and beautiful sunny day luncheon with family.
