Artist Statement

"Cascade" by Christina Karras

Cascade was painted from a reference photo taken while visiting a friend at her beautiful home away from home, in Cascade Idaho. The peaceful walk along the River was what I most wanted portrayed in this piece. My hope is to represent the beauty of nature in its truest form.
