Artist Statement

"Lemons" by Donna Schultz

 

My model for Lemons is PhD in Anthropology at Duke. She is a sweet lovely

young woman with a funky incongruous style. Her serious academic pursuit and

demeanor were jarring with the hot pink hair and the retro lemon sundress. I

thought she was quite enchanting.
