"Late Winter Waterway" by Ginny Stocker

As the spring melt continues, the waters both deepen and darken. The snow that clings to the river banks appears in stark contrast to the slowly moving river. Inspiration for the Icy River Series of 2019 again comes from the Wabash River in northwestern Indiana where I was raised. Please let me know if you need anything more. You have done a wonderful job in a stressful time with the show.

"Spring Will Come" by Ginny Stocker

As the ice thaws and the water level recedes, ice is detained on the trunks of close trees along the banks of the river. Many people have never seen this, but after the cold, cold winter months when the thaw begins, it is a common site to see ice clinging to the trees after the waters have moved on. My inspiration for the Icy River series of 2019 comes from the banks of the Wabash River in Indiana.
